Itinerary : Antananarivo -Andasibe  – Morondava -Kirindy Private Reserve – Tsingy of Bemaraha – Baobab avenue –  Morondava – Belo sur Mer – Antananarivo

This tour allows you to discover the royal palace of Ambohimanga Analamazaotra national park, Vakona reserve, peyrieras reserve, Queen’s palace of Manjakamiadana, Baobab Avenue, Kirindy Private Reserve, Tsingy of Bemaraha national park and Belo sur mer.

Itinerary

Day1 Arrival in Antananarivo
Arrival at ivato airport of Antananarivo meet our guide and transfer to the hotel.

Day2 Antananarivo -Andasibe

After breakfast,drive to the royal palace of Ambohimanga. You have a short visit to this cultural and hitorical site where the king Andrianampoinimerina has established his kingdom. This sacred site remaines as place of worship. Afterward, continue to Andasibe, with a beautiful landscape of hills.

Day3 Andasibe

Explore Analamazaotra National Park to discover the indri indri, diademed sifaka,grey bambo lemur and other species. Indri indri is the largest living lemur and Malagasy people call them BABAKOTO. A walk through the rainforest will give you a chance to see Madagascar giraffe weevil, geckos and endemic birds. Second part, a visit to Vakona reserve zoo where you can see crocodiles ,black and white ruffed lemur and any more.

Day4 Andasibe-Antananarivo

Leave the hotel and drive back to Antananarivo. On the way, stop at Peyrieras reserve and spend an hour to discover the giant Atlas moth,chameleons, lemurs, plants and many more. Afterwards, continue to Antananarivo. After lunch, visit the Queen’s palace built on top of hill. You can learn more about history of Madagascar and have a nice view.

Day 5 Antananarivo -Morondava-Kirindy

After breakfast at the hotel, direct transfer to the airport for a domestic flight to Morondava. Uppon arrival, meet our guide and driver. On the way to the hotel, you will see the beautiful baobab trees growing alongside the dirt road. Stop at the Baobab Avenue for a short walk along and pictures. In the evening, hike in Kirindy Private Reserve to discover the nocturnal lemurs such as fork-marked lemur, grey mouse lemur, red-tailed sportive lemur and other wildlife. You have a chance to see Fosa which is the largest carnivore in Madagascar.

Day 6 Kirindy

Early guided visit to Kirindy Private Reserve to learn more about Verraux’s sifaka, Red-fronted brown lemur, White breast mesite, Crested drongo known as king of the birds in Madagascar and many more. Afterward, direct drive to Bekopaka across Tsiribihina and Manambolo river.

Day7 Bekopaka

After breakfast, a guided visit to Tsingy of  Bemaraha National. You have a sort of via ferrata to do in the big Tsingy in order to discover the famous suspension bridge. Of course it requires a good physical condition If not, you have another option to go on a river trip of the gorge de Manambolo circuit and visit the small Tsingy. The cathedral of limestone will amaze you with its natural landscape .A hike through the forest canyon will give you a chance to see Schlegel’s asity and Tsingy wood rail. You can see decken’s sifaka, Bemaraha sportive lemur, Rufous brown lemur, giant coua, chameleon and many more.

Day 8 Bekopaka -Morondava

After breakfast, drive back to the Baobab Avenue to reach the sunset and appreciate a breathtaking sunset illuminates the baobab trees. On the way, you will understand the traditions of the Sakalava people at the sacred Baobab tree and enjoy the incredible baobab love in Akiba Lodge.

Day 9 Morondava – Belo sur Mer

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Belo sur mer on a dirt and sandy road. Deep in a rural area and across some rivers where you can meet local people with a beautiful smile and where you can immerse yourself.

Day 10 Belo sur mer – Morondava

As the village of Belo sur mer is a tranquil place, with its crystal clear water and white sandy beach, so you can take your time to relax. You also can take to the sea: dugout ride with Vezo fishers or swim. Walk around the village to see the locals built a traditional sailing boat of Madagascar and dhows. After lunch, drive back to Morondava.

Day 11 Morondava -Antananarivo

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for an internal flight to the capital city of Antananarivo. Before your international flight, you can choose to hop on hop-off tours in Antananarivo in search of some souvenirs in the artisanal market of the Digue.
