The tour starts from center, to the east region and west coast.

Antananarivo is the capital city of Madagascar and situated in the central highland of the island. This city is famous for its 12 sacred hills of Imerina where you can understand the culture and the history of Madagascar. The largest international airport of the island is in Antananarivo city.
Eastern coast of Madagascar is covered with rainforest and characterized by palm trees, emblematic plant called Ravinala or Traveller’s tree. The region is home to evergreen forests due to its high percentage of rainfall. The presence of the largest living lemur, known as Indri indri makes the region well-known in world. This is accessible all year round.

West coast:The dry dicidious forests are found along the west coast of Madagascar and characterized by the baobab trees, Euphoibiaceae and Fabaceae or leguminosae family. Morondava is the starting point to go to the Baobab Avenue, further north is Kirindy forest and Tsingy of Bemaraha national park. South of Morondava is Belo sur mer. This region is accessible throughout the year except the Tsingy of Bemaraha and Belo sur mer which are feasible from Mai to mid-November.

Analamazaotra National Park

the park is located 136 kilometers east of Antananarivo, which covers 810 hectars in surface .  The rainforest of Analamazaotra is known  as a habitat for the largest lemur (indri indri ) in Madagascar and you learn more about the ancestors of lemurs. This beautiful park is home to 12 species of lemurs and 120 species of birds. One of the best places to see birds such pitta-like, scaly and rufuos-headed ground rollers  and some other  species of reptiles. You may spot some leaf t leaf tailed geckos well camouflaged in trees.

Morondava

This town is located in the west of the island of Madagascar, known as the capital of Menabe region, And the territory of Sakalava people. A beautiful beach is one of the highlight part of town and a cruise along mangroves aboard a local canoe opens the way to reach a small island of Betania occupied by Vezo fishermen people.Sakalava people have a remarkable culture such as Tromba (ancetor whorship) women put on face a natural beauty mask (cosmetic product) Morondava is an entry point to the Baobab avenue, Kirindy private resere, Tsingy of Bemaraha National Park and Belo sur Mer .

Baobab avenue

This avenue lines with magnificent Baobab trees about 90 meters long. Andasonia Grandidieri, over 600 years old with an immense size dominates the landscape. This natural monument of 320 hectares including a 7ha of core protected area is situated 21 kilometers away from Morondava, in a small village of sculptors people. Kirindy Forest

Kirindy Forest in located 50Km northeast of Morondava. This dry deciduous forest covers an area of 12 500 hectars and most of endemic wildlife of Madagascar are easily found inside. The primary forest of Kirindy is home to 68 species of birds, 8 species of lemurs, 50 species of reptiles and 5 species of amphibians. It is famous for Fosa ( the largest carnivore in Madagascar ),white breast mesite, jumping rat and the smallest primate in the world Madame Berthe’s mouse lemur. Flora is also quite impressive with some precious wood and contains severall locally andemic plant species. These amazing baobab trees decorate the forest of Kirindy.

Tsingy of Bemaraha National Park

This first world heritage site of UNESCO is located 200 kilometers north of Morondava. The park is famous for its unique rock formation which covers 157 710 hectares. Tsingy is limestone rock formed during jurassic period with a breathtaking view of sharp rock caused by erosion. This beautiful park is home to 103 species of birds, 11 species of lemurs, 77 species of reptiles, 05 families of bats, 34 species of amphibians and more than 800 species of plants including some precious trees in Madagascar. Tsingy wood rail is endemic bird to the park itself . Through the forest canyon you can see decken’s sifaka, schlegel’s asity and many more.

Belo sur Mer

This breathtaking beach is located south of Morondava, in a small village of Vezo fishermen people. It’s crystal-clear water, and white sandy beach make it unique in the world. Belo sur mer is one of the best place to relax with full of tranquility. You get an opportunity to take to the sea and walk around the village. Belo sur mer is famous for the dhow building and traditional sailing boat of Madagascar.
